Restaurant horror stories
After watching this film I feel so lucky that I’ve never worked in a restaraunt - it looks awful…I’ve heard bad stories from so many of my friends about rude customers, stressful nights and annoying co-workers but I could see from this how bad it actually gets…driving even one waitress to take all her clothes off (poor Abi!)
Not that the jobs I’ve had have been great…

I can sympathise with Shirley’s character…I was a kitchen hand for 3 months and hated every second of it.
The only thing that got me through the night was knowing that I’d be going out for drinks with the staff after work

All these women have to deal with so much in this one night - it even drove them to hallucinate that a famous actor came to entertain!
Or was Danny Huston really there?
My worst job has to be when I worked in a sea side cafe…it was really annoying seeing people lying on the beach and then there were always screaming kids who weren’t allowed ice cream

I’ve done my fair share of waitressing but managed to keep out of the kitchen, which was always the worst job. Not only because you couldn’t earn any tips but it was always so hot - just like in the film!

My all time worst job was working in a pie shop back home…especially when I worked the late shift and all the drunk, hungry people came in and demanded pies!
