According to this we should move to the Midlands or Wales where we will be less ‘unchuffed’ - is that even a word?

My worst job was at the Ambassadors theatre in Woking. I worked there during the christmas break at university, and had to usher during the main pantomine season. Think it was puss n boots, starred Bobby Davro and some third tier presenter off the Disney Channel… ushering in a mob of unruly kids in a frankly very forgettable home counties satellite town. Great.

Does anyone really like their job though?
Don’t think this is particular to London…
I have good days and bad days!

yes, i agree with leanne every job has good days and bad days, but i know what will is talking about when it comes to university summer jobs. ive done a lot of different roles in a theatre, including ushering but by far the worst was stage door. you just sat in box all day, with no daylight, just answering phones and signing in the cast, who were always grumpy, for some reason.
waitressing, on the other hand was very hard work, but at times very enjoyable and quite fun. although we never had any rats!
